spotify "not a valid Win32 application" error"

I had to uninstall Spotify and now when I try to reinstall, I get this error... thoughts?

"SpotifySetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

I'm running Windows 7 on a high-end machine. It worked perfectly before.

Had the same error.  Thought it might be a 64 bit operating system issue, so I searched for a 64 bit spotify download.
Found this:

http://www.x64bitdownload.com/downloads/t-64-bit-spotify-download-nbmblxju.html

installed and worked.

Hey! Welcome to the community :)

What if you try the installer from this link?

Re: spotify "not a valid Win32 application" error"

I got the same error:

SpotifySetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

From the https://www.spotify.com/uk/download/windows/

Solution: Download from the US Site (or other)

E.g.. https://www.spotify.com/us/download/windows/
