Error 8.4

I have a roku smart t.v. and I tried to use the spotify app, when I log in it says 

"Could not connect to Spotify. There was a problem connecting to Spotify. Please check your network connection in Roku Settings. Visit www.Spotify.com/help for current service status. (Code 8.4)"

 

I checked my connection settings and I am connected to the internet and all my other apps like facebook, netflix, ect. are working fine.

Please help.

The only reason I signed up for Spoity and got the premium thing is so I can use it on my Roku T.v.

If I'm unable to use it on Roku I'll be forced to cancle my premium membership.

did you ever find a solution? I have the same issue eith my Roku streaming stick and I can't fix it no matter what I try. Ready to cancel my Spotify and go to Rdio or something else.
