Error 127/"An Error Occurred, Try Again"

Hi there,

I suddenly developed this issue following a storage limit warning stopping me from searching the library. I seem able to play my own playlists, radio, Now, etc. but can't search the library without this error.

The red bar with Error 127 is visible on the 'Account' page.

Things I have tried:
Unloading and reloading Spotify
Soft reset
Hard reset
'Disconnect all devices' via web app and logging back in
Clean install

Any further help would be appreciated

Cheers

Ah! So it looks like the issue has resolved all by itself miraculously without needing to do anything.

I shall be leaving a sacrifice at the Spotify Guru altar post haste.

Thank you!

Hey @Whiteroam ! Welcome to the community ^^

A community member solved this issue with these 3 steps.

Si i suppose you've got a Mac ?

1. Delete Spotify Application

Drag Spotify from Applications to the Trash

2. Clear spotify Cache

Open Finder, hold down the Option key and Select Library from the Go menu.

From Library, select Caches. Drag folders that start with com.spotify to the Trash

Return to the Library folder and select Application Support. Drag the Spotify folder to the Trash.

3. Download and re-install spotify

Download the Spotify installer for Mac and run a fresh install of Spotify.

Peace

Sorry mate, I didn't specify! I'm having the issue on an iPhone 6 running
iOS8.4

Unfortunately, I can't find any way to manage the application cache from
the settings interface and hoped the fresh reinstall might have had a
similar effect.

Thanks for the super speedy reply.
