Spotify connect not working with Yamaha v475 receiver

Hi!

I've just bought a Yamaha RX-v475 receiver and I am not able to see the receiver on the Spotify connect list. I've updated the receiver firmware and my iphone is running under ios 8.1.

Please help, I need to know if it is a software problem or hardware one!

Exactly the same problem with a Yamaha R-N500 Receiver - really sad that no knows a solution.

Same problem here. Connect always worked without any problem. Yesterday I updated the receiver software of my rx v475 to the latest version and now Spotify is not able to connect to the amp.

Strange, sounds like it might be a firmware issue with Yamaha. Has anyone got in touch with them?

I have the same problem with rx-v573. But for me the problem started when I updated the spotify app... Now I cant see the reciever in spotify connect.
