ipod touch won't show up under devices in spotify

it both connect to the same wifi,but my ipod touch won't show up under devices in spotify of windows.

I opened the sharing function of wifi. It still won't work.

ipod is running ios 6.1.2 and windows is running windows 8 pro.

both ipod and windows is running the newest version of spotify.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Can you try running the Spotify client on Windows as administrator (File > Exit Spotify, Right click the desktop icon > Run as Administrator). Also, I've noticed Windows Firewall can be a little bit of a pain on my Windows 8 laptop, so you might want to try temporarily disabling it and any other security software you are using.

i tried that, i disabled all of my security software, windows firewall and run as admin. it still won't work.
