Add support for Android TV

Android TV is Google's latest take on Android for the TV and is released with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The first device running Android TV is Google's own device Nexus Player.

The good thing with Android TV is that it runs regular Android apps with some modifications and it also has built in support for Google Cast.

I was very sad because i didnt found the oficial app, but i installed the app 'Emma for Spotify' and i`m very happy.

It works perfect and only for $2.

It have a free version (but you cant access to your profile).

@Matt17000 I've just tried that version....it looks the same as the last ones. I'm not sure if they are doing something but it seems like they are not. Although all these spotify versions cannot work at 100%, they run at less pretty decent.

I'm going to have to cancel my subscription if there isn't support for Android TV soon. I can use Pandora on Android TV and every other device I own.

Come on Spotify, let's add the cast support for Android TV. Isn't so difficult...

I recently bought the Nvidia shield running android TV, so disappointed that I cannot install the spotify app or use Google cast to cast music from my phone. Is this idea still under consideration??

@sagarthecool2 you could install spotify's apk . Doing that you can unofficially use spotify on any android device. There will be some issues but the main functionality will work and spotify connect too. Although, I hope Spotify will launch something officially.... Keep kudos coming to the idea.....we need to get noticed!!!!!

@deen0137 for that we need more kudos....we are stuck at 310.....we should have more in order to get noticed by spotify. Unfortunately not much people is joining the petition.
