[All Platforms] Bookmark Position in an Audiobook or Podcast

Hey there,

Now that Spotify have added a bunch of Audiobooks and Podcasts, I think it would be a nice idea to have the option to:
Pause your audiobook/podcast > go back to listening to music > and then be able to get back to your book/podcast and pick up where you left of, without having to memorize the time that you paused.

What do you think?

Spotify and audiobooks is like the middle east conflict.

It would make perfect sens to find a solution but they just don't do it.

Any news about the implementation of this basic feature? It is absolutly mandatory when listenig to audiobooks.

When will it be availabe? I am very impatient about this one.....

For Android there is a seperate App available which is automatically setting bookmarks:

Not a good solution, because there is no download permitted from Spotify
with app Audiobook player for Spotify

Dear Spotify,

to tag this topic "not right now" is inacceptable. Consequently you should delete audiobooks from your database. I would strongly recommend to integrate bookmarks for audiobooks. This is essential.

I can't believe this is really not working yet. For audiobooks this is a deal breaker. Come on Spotify, u can do better than this!!

I agree with everything that has been said. Just do it! 

Third party apps like Audiobooks for Spotify from Google Play Store are not an alternative.

Can't believe you put this in hold for so long!! It's essential to enjoy audiobooks on Spotify at all! It's such a major hassle that I keep thinking about ditching Spotify in favor of a 2 service solution. One of which will be a dedicated audiobook service which does support stupid, simple to implement bookmarks.

I support this as well. It's annoying to have to remember your position every time. Plus, like it has been said MANY times on here, the slider is impossible to slide to the exact position you previously left off at.
