Idea: "[All Platforms] Music videos"

Artists record a video to go with their music / you could upload the music videos that already exist!
I really want to watch them on Spotify while listening.

At Apple Music I can choose between listening to the music, or watching their video.

Unfortunately, Spotify doesn't like people to have options. So there will just put the videos down to your troat. With the new feature where videos are automatically playing at the corner where usually album art was, Spotify is really going downhill. It is just annoying...

My PC client started playing music videos (and particularly their audio today)... is there really no option to turn that off? I can't find anything in the settings.

This is the kind of deal breaker that will make me look at the competition. I play music in the background. I really don't want to hear all the extra fluff music videos often have. Having this kind of toggle should be design 101. And if it does exist, it really needs to be easier to find.

Well after some digging, I found how I can go back to audio tracks.

For future reference if anyone is stuck in the same situation, on the PC client, you have to open the "Now Playing" tab. There's a button under the video to switch to audio. Definitely should be an option somewhere in the settings.
