Spotify needs to have a mono option for those of us who are hearing impaired. It is exclusionary otherwise!!!

Yes please! Just been looking into how to change the settings to do this.  I, too, am an office-based-one-earphone-user and it bugs the hell out of me that I only get half the song! Thanks.

I'm deaf in one ear- the ability to listen in mono would be fantastic-  I'd even spring more for it since it sure would be great to actually be able to fully use the PAID spotify account I never get around to canceling every month since some music is better than no music. What's the use of carrying around 3,333 songs if I can only hear half of them? Considering a quick google search shows that only about 20% of your users are paid accounts, you'd think holding on to the ones you do have would be a priority. 

I don't see why you guys are so obstant about this over the multi-year life of this thread. 

My phone doesn't have a mix down to mono function in it's accessibility settings- which I've already complained to Motorola about.

Definitely needs a 'mono' mode.

Like other's I too choose to use one earbud at work so as not to alienate co-workers and clients that might walk up to me.

I was excited when I recently discovered Spotify. But then on listening thru ear-phone(s) very disappointed. I'm stone deaf in one ear, lost hearing in it suddenly several years ago, apparently it's quite a common problem.  Please add the mono option for music lovers like myself - try listening with just one ear-bud to see what it's like - it's generally not worth listening thru ear-phones which is the only option at work. Otherwise thanks for the great service.

Yeah, I'm deaf in one ear, so I miss out on a lot of song by not being able to play in mono.

Agree! I think my reason was already written somewhere, but just in case, when I work in an office, I tend to put on some spotify and get lost in my work. And, since I have sound cancelling headphones only, I only use one ear in case some colleagues need something from me. This makes listening to something like Trumpets by Flipsyde a weird experience since I know the song, love it very much, but can't shake the feeling that I'm missing out on so much.

At work I play a lot of tunes on spotify but only with an earphone, so I listen to a single channel a time.

Please add the mono output!

I too need a mono feature, I use one headphone for work, also my biggest thing is when I want to share the music with a friend by giving them an earbud, but I would like to listen to it as well so I keep an earbud in as well.  Clearly I would prefer we both be listening to the same song, rather than different songs because of the stereo audio.
