[All Platforms] Set Alarm to start Spotify

Just thought it would be nice to wake up to a good song.  Start the day off on a good beat.   Looked through my PC, and to my suprise there was no alarm clock!  What's the deal?  Would it not be nice to be able to set a time for the music to start?  Link a playlist, best of (maybe you're waiting for a song to come out?),   Incorporate a timer into the alarm clock too.  Would be cool.

Same here. Latest Android Spotify App and the same for Google Clock on my
S7 running Oreo. Bupkis. Grrr...

Manually downloading the latest apk of the clock app from Google gives you Spotify. The apk was released today, so shouldn't take too long for it to appear in Google Play if you rather wish to wait.

Tbis is **bleep**ing**bleep**. I have wasted a ton of time trying to get this to work. Spotify should not have announced it until it was actually ready. I don't take kindly to having my time wasted. Cancelling my membership.

Maybe it would be good to review the announcement [All platforms]
I didn't know that Android was synonymous with "all platforms", especially since the initial suggestion was about PCs!

Fab to hear about Spotify on google clock for android! 

 

Hope there will be something similar for iOS users soon.... this will massively improve the morning experience of many folks.
