Customization of playlists (cover and description box)

Hello, Spotify Community! 

One of the things I enjoy about Spotify, is that I get to share music I enjoy, with people all around the world. But how great would it be if it was possible to customize your playlists, to make it your very own. And it doesn't necessary need a lot of advanced or fancy stuff, just your picture of choice for the cover (instead of 4 album covers from your tracklist) and a description box, would be enough to make it kind of original (and make it easier for people to know what kind of music the playlist will include/what it's made for etc.).

What is the version of the desktop client you are using. Mine is 1.0.23.90.g42187855 and I am not seeing this "Edit Details" option in the context menu of a playlist I own.

Have to agree with others on here. I'm a paying user for going on 3 years now. This thread is that old. What's the roadmap for adding some of these features? These are high-value, low effort things we're talking about here...

I've seen regular users with this capability. I wonder what does one has to do to get the function activated. 😕

i've been using spotify for as long as i can remember. my entire family have shared about five accounts together. i finally was able to get my own private premium account. i have been doing research on this all day. it has been four years yet still no changes have been made. it should be an option to customize your playlist. i know that there are some instructions saying to contact a spotify representative but seriously make it easier for all the users and allow us to just customize our playlists. artists are allowed to add a cover image for their playlist why can't your regular users?

Guys you can change the playlist cover art by moving the songs you want to the top of your playlist. The first 4 songs in your playlist are the cover art.
