Customization of playlists (cover and description box)

Hello, Spotify Community! 

One of the things I enjoy about Spotify, is that I get to share music I enjoy, with people all around the world. But how great would it be if it was possible to customize your playlists, to make it your very own. And it doesn't necessary need a lot of advanced or fancy stuff, just your picture of choice for the cover (instead of 4 album covers from your tracklist) and a description box, would be enough to make it kind of original (and make it easier for people to know what kind of music the playlist will include/what it's made for etc.).

...Then upload the picture and enter the text. Comes out on V0.9 and V1.0 which I'm both using, and the web player. I wonder if this is something that's being rolled out to all users and I've seen it first?

Yeah, where "Edit Details" it says "Rename" So I guess you've got it first?

Only took nearly four years of asking for it! But I guess it'll soon be with everybody. A welcome addition to the program (nice to say that for a change).

That is great news! Are you a Premium user? I assume this will be a Premium-only feature.

Do you get the option to Edit Details on mobile?

Also, does it give you the option to add artwork to playlist folders?

I have the latest Spotify and don't have an option to Edit, only Rename. So it must be a phased rollout for testing.

Yeah, it's nowhere for me either so I would say @GrooveHog is correct.

Well I'm glad it might be rolling out but weve been asking for this for a long time so I'll beleive it when I see it. I also have the same version for Windows 10 as stated above and I don't have the option to edit the details.

This feature is indeed available already for artists, labels and people
generally in the music business. I can only assume given the popularity of
this thread and Spotify ignoring it for so long that they have no intention
of enabling this feature for regular or even premium users.
