Customization of playlists (cover and description box)

Hello, Spotify Community! 

One of the things I enjoy about Spotify, is that I get to share music I enjoy, with people all around the world. But how great would it be if it was possible to customize your playlists, to make it your very own. And it doesn't necessary need a lot of advanced or fancy stuff, just your picture of choice for the cover (instead of 4 album covers from your tracklist) and a description box, would be enough to make it kind of original (and make it easier for people to know what kind of music the playlist will include/what it's made for etc.).

I do not like playlists that I may not prefer and thus have to skip an entire weeks worth of you fabulous musisc. Why not mix it up more or let us chose our own. An ENTIRE week of any ethnicity is rudely exclusionary to the rest of the listeners who may not want to hear that particular, or any for that matter, any, one entirely ethnic, music show. If we don't like it, we have to wait an entire week, and hope you don't do the same thing again that following week with a different ethnicity, for the entirety of the show, we may or may not like. sorry that you can't handle being exposed to other cultures 😞 personally I
enjoy the variate that Spotify offers and its efforts to integrate

How about mixing it up and not overwhelming people with an entire program of one ethnic genre ! How about you being a little more open minded and not overwhelming us listeners with something we may just want a reasonably small intriguing introduction to, rather than shoving an entire weeks show down our throats. This does not intrigue people, it shuts them off, because if you don't like it you've just lost an entire week of HOS. Reasonable ???

You can get the 4 covers you want in the playlist avatar as long as you place a song from each of those albums as the top 4 in the playlist. Of course that takes away your control to put the songs in the order you want, as far as the first 4 songs go...

A great app to use for creating your own playlist cover photos is CANVA. VERY easy to use and just about every format you would need for using just about any social platform.

Hi I am currently trying to upload my own personal photo to one of my playlis as a cover and I am having trouble, I dont know what to click and my playist only lets me edit what songs i want to keep or get rid of. Please help

If you are on desktop, click the photo cover and change the photo. Upload your own file from your documents.
