[Desktop] Please bring back "Discovered by...." playlist list when looking at artist profiles.

This was such a great way to discover playlists and similar artists based on the artist you are looking at.

I don't see any benefit of removing this feature.

But, the latest update as of now has it removed.

Before, you can go to an artist profile, under the "about section", the right side showed some playlists the artist is featured in (usually the top 5 playlists that this artist has the most plays from).

Please bring this back. Thanks.

Good news! In the latest web player / desktop update the Discovered On section should now be back on artist pages. Scroll down and you will see it near the bottom of artist pages.

PLEASE bring this back. I started googling where the **bleep** did it go this GREAT feature "discovered on", one of my most used features I think to discover new similar music and playlists.

Spotify you HAVE to bring this back, if you don't even change anything else but this.

@MattSuda Thank you so much, I updated it today and I can see it now (a little different there amongst all the albums and other playlists but really nice to see it again! I also like that you can discover even more lists by vieweing more...)

Glad to hear you found it! Yeah it's there on the main page now instead of in the "About" section.

why isn't this marked as implemented? it's come back and as promised it features lots more playlists so, credit where credit is due, thank you Spotify devs.

"Discovered On" is still not back in latest available update for OSX 10.10 (v1.1.54.592.gc0b20638-a)

this was a very disappointing update which stripped the core features of the music and community aspects of Spotify (removing Discovered On, auto-hiding Friend Activity, design foregrounding Date Added over Artist Name & Track Title).

I've always used the "Discovered On" section to find relevant playlists and also new artists and songs. This feature is super useful especially when it comes to the work of artists with less media coverage. Please, bring it back!

The "Status Update" pinned to the top of the page on July 7th says you have brought back the "Appears On" feature, while the original post and all comments in this thread have requested to bring back the "Discovered On" feature. I have not recently updated my desktop app because I don't want to lose access to the playlist discovery feature in question, but in the older version of the desktop app that I use "Discovered On" refers to a feature that lets you discover playlists, while "Appears On" refers to a feature that lets you discover albums / compilations. My hope is that "Appears On" mentioned in the July 7th status update is some sort of re-naming or consolidation that also includes playlists the artist was discovered on – if not, the original request to bring back the utility of "Discovered On" might not have been addressed.
