[Desktop] Video size in podcasts

You can currently only choose between a small video size and full screen.

I wish you could stretch the video to the rest of the window, as the rest of it is really a waste of space. Full screen would be alright but then I can't do anything else with that screen.

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

We're happy to announce that resizing the podcast videos is now available on Desktop.  You can do this by hovering the mouse over the corner of the video and then clicking  and dragging to adjust it to your preference.

Once again, thanks for helping us make Spotify better, by participating here on the Community.

Even better with the web version, using Firefox you can detach and float/resize the video on top of your screen content.

Looks like this feature is live now. Thank you! That being said, it's unfortunate that we even had to ask for this, and had to wait as long as we did.

Thank you for implementing this essential feature.

The Linux client lacks this basic ability still. Using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/spotify/ which is built off spotify-1.1.56.595-x86_64.deb currently. I appreciate that a Linux client is even offered in the first place, btw, thank you.

@xstefen: In case you don't know, the web version has the fix implemented as well. I've been using that for the past weeks, and I assume in the browser it's OS agnostic.

I'll give that a try. Thanks for the tip!
