Discount Family Subscriptions!

Before I made the switch from Rdio to Spotify they (Rdio) came up with a pricing model that allowed families to purchase a slightly discounted subscription.  


$9.99 for single unlimited user

$17.99 for 2 family members (20% discount)

$22.99 for 3 family members (50% discount)


Would love to see a similar pricing model so the rest of the family could get in on the action!

Unfortunately it did not work. I have cancelled my wife's premium
subscription, but I can neither change her country from Sweden to France
nor will Spotify accept the invitation code I got (from Spotify) for her.
Any other ideas of what I should do?
I must say, that I do think that it is ubelievably poor of Spotify that
they could not help me with this transaction. Is there no way to contact




You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.


If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

Doesnt work.  Family members dont get emails to link into your family account.  

Hello, I think it's great the current family plan, as an observation, should be incorporate a "Spotify couple", the family plan is very expensive for 2 people According to the review in several comments on the web, I see that there would be a demand


There should be promotions to subscribe to the family option just like the single user.  I would have signed up already. 


How can I speak to someone real time about my account



I have been paying for spotify premium family plan since more than a year but suddenly my family members were just disconnected and they cannot reconnect no matter I send invitations, they live in the same address

If you're the Family Admin, send the invites again, and let them accept the invite logged in with their own username in the app and in the website.


They should make sure to type the address exactly as the Admin did, and also be sure all Family members use the same Internet connection (Home network) regularly. Not doing so may be the cause of them being left out.

I have a new family membership premium quota and I included my son who has already member. Should he write off from membership not to pay twice, or your system does it automatically being included in my family list and so he won´t pay his personal quota anymore?

Only if any of your family members pays Premium through a mobile provider, or another partner, they would need to cancel it before joining your Family Plan.
Normally, he doesn't need to cancel his individual Premium. Once he joins a Family Premium plan, his remaining time in his individual Premium will 'freeze' and will become available once he's out of the Family Premium.
