[Discover] New Releases Section for Followed Artists

Please add a section to the desktop and mobile apps where we can see all of the new releases from the artists we follow. When artists release new music, their fans want a way to find it directly in Spotify without having to rely on social media or elsewhere away from the Spotify app. The Release Radar playlist by Spotify only shows some new releases and then it disappears a week later.

This new section would act as a "feed" and update automatically when a new album from an artist you follow is available on Spotify. Please make the feed have a high display limit so we can go back months and months and for sure won't miss any releases.

The problem with the current "new releases" section is that it doesn't show new releases from artists you follow. It only show the most popular new releases. The only way right now to find new releases is to go to the artist's page and hunt around for the new release or use the Release Radar playlist.

The Release Radar playlist is not what we want. The problem with the Release Radar playlist is that it mixes in suggestions. I want to see followed artists ONLY. And if you check the playlist a week too late, all the songs are GONE.

We need a feed that we can scroll back months and months and months so we can see all the new releases from the artists we follow. We shouldn't have to rush through it and it be gone the next week.

I use app.swarm.fm for this feature temporary. It'd be great if you add it to native app.

It'd be also great if you add "suggested" new releases that shows new releases from "my artists + related artists with them"

I realized that there are new releases from my followed artists and related artist with them today.

There was no any Turkish singer relases on this section but there are 2 one at the moment.

I hope this feature has been implemented.

 IT IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA! A way to see ally my loved artists releases in one spot, dayumn that would be a good feature. Also if there is a place to learn about the artists I listen to, like a quickish summary of bands they like and when new releases are planned.

For god sake! How long is it going to take for you to implement this! It's a no brainer!

It would be so useful.

Currently the 'New releases' section is useless as it 99% shows artists/genres I don't car about.

Being able to filter by genre (Apple music does it) would also be really useful.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this problem.

The thing is... if I don't go to the new releases page for a while I will still miss new releases from the artists I track or will they be more like notifications that stay there until I checked them out?

Maybe a better notification handling would solve the problem?
I'm thinking of a combination between a dedicated notification section and a filter tool/option so users who are following many artists, playlists & friends have a chance to handle the notifications not missing the new releases.

@blake this idea has been a "good idea" for quite some time and @MattSuda even made a mockup.
