Full screen artwork (for those late nite jams)

So.... it's Friday night, your friends are round, you've sorted your music for the night by queuing a shedload of music.... now we're on 'Play Queue' and I'm stuck looking at the interface - boring! It's time for some atmosphere - no need for fancy visualisers, just give me a 'full screen' option on the artwork for the current song!

Maybe we could even flip it over and read the back cover & credits too!!

Just like the old vinyl days.....

The most important button for me is the + sign to add songs to my list of songs. This is missing from full screen mode.

A rough sketch of album art that might be more virtually interesting if you applied some subtle animations to it as well. I feel like a lot of great album design gets lost when all you see is the front cover of the record. If you add some kind of slideshow animation of the the booklet or the photos from the promotional tour as well I think it could increase the experience of the listener and preserve the original feeling of the album.

I'm probably looking in the wrong place, but I canot find a full screen artwork view in the right side of the play bar. I see three icons, queue, devices available & volume, but no option for full screen artwork. Any help greatly appreciated.

Ugly ugly ugly. I'm sure most people don't use it because of how unattractive it is, at least add a gradient of the most dominant colour in the artwork instead of black and white.

Dear Spotify,

fullscreen cover feature is nice, but it is not fullscreen!

On my screen, the artwork is 650 pixels, I want UHD resolution!

There have been a few updates and a name change for Last.fm Now which I mentioned earlier. See e.g. this Reddit thread:

You have to scrobble your Spotify listening to Last.fm of course in order to use it with Spotify.

I have the version 1.0.75.483.g7ff4a0dc and I don't see the full screen icon (the 2 arrows) to the right of the playbar. and when I select full screen in the View menu, I only see the app bigger, not the artwork. Was it removed??
