[Podcasts] Mark all/multiple podcasts played

Add the ability to mark all prior podcasts played. Recently joined spotify and would like to consolidate my apps. If I subscribe to a podcast with hundreds of episodes I would like to be able to pick the last one I heard on my current player and mark it AND all prior played. Currently the only way to do this is by manually marking each episode.

Funny that they spend $100 million on Joe Rogan, when they could have just added a few basic features that their competitors have...

This is a big reason that I won't switch podcast platforms unless I'm forced to.  I have one network that has moved to Spotify only, and those will be the only podcasts I listen to on the platform because I'm not going to manually mark thousands of podcasts as played.  For those of us who listen to podcasts regularly, it's just not worth all the work to make the switch.

This is still not in? Spotify podcasts is so bad compared to anything else. Missing basic features, but keeps adding garbage no one asks for. Why don't you guys fix your inconsistent android app. Its such a bad experience, if you guys keep resting on your success something else will eat your lunch.

I just lost track of all the podcasts I have played because there was a problem with my account. Now I don't know which ones I have already played. 🙃 I really need this option!

Spotify seems to be serious about Podcasts, which makes the lack of basic features like this all more surprising. Hoping this can be addresses soon.

Insane that this was suggested so long ago and is still not implemented. Seems like it should be a simple addition, but maybe not? 😕

Add another person to the list of "I'd happily switch to Spotify for all my podcast needs, but there's absolutely zero friggin way I'm individually marking over a thousand episodes as played."

The fact that Spotify doesn't have this already is a gross oversight, which I could forgive. However, fact that they have outright said they don't plan on implementing it any time soon despite clear requests, and quite honestly, the common sense of it, makes me kind of want to switch to another platform even for music.

This. I have podcasts that I've listened to for many years. This, and other "not right now" features of Spotify is why I don't use Spotify for podcasts.
It's sad to see these podcasts lose so many loyal listeners because of Spotify.

I looked at switching to using spotify as my main podcast app, but lacking this feature just makes it impractical.  It amazes me that spotify would buy exclusive distribution to podcasts with years of episodes without implementing this and then to say you don't plan on implementing it.  wow.
