Spotify Video on Apple TV

With Video coming to Spotify, it feels like a real missed opportunity that there is no video on the Spotify Apple TV app. I would love to be able to watch podcasts or shows on Spotify on my Apple TV. I assume this is already in the works, but if it's not it should be. If it is, when will we see it?

Surprised how few votes this has. 
I won't be watching the JRE podcasts on a phone or tablet for hours on end, for such a major grab you'd have thought that they'd sort out video playback on Apple TV and other casting devices. 
Lots of confused people on the internet unsure how to watch it now its off YT.

I am using Air Parrot 3 which allows you to mirror from a Windows PC or a mac to your apple tv.  You just open a browser to the episode you want and cast it to the apple tv.

The only problem is that the Spotify app on my Mac is trash. All your apps suck Spotify!  Fix them please

This is absolutely ridiculous. I only pay for Spotify for. Joe Rogan, and I have been watching Joe Rogan for years on my Apple TV with my husband. And now I can no longer watch it. Unfortunately I will likely end up canceling my Spotify unless this is resolved. This is so incredibly disappointing. I seriously hope Spotify can fix this.

Making JRE exclusive and not making it work is almost like Martin Skrtel’s purchase of Wu Tang Clan’s album.

Joe Rogan converted me to use Spotify fully for my music and podcast, I love the app, but it needs a video component for the Apple TV for Joe Rogan podcast. Also as another person mentioned it would be cool if they added music videos to the service as well.

Honestly hating this style of help. Community? Really, must there be enough votes to warrant video through Apple TV app? Meaning development isn’t even happening? Weirdly, video mirroring doesn’t work using Spotify mobile app to Apple TV. 

Not having video in any current Spotify app is unacceptable. You want my money for Premium? Then fix basic functionality by including video in the Apple TV app and DO NOT blame it on the issue not getting enough “votes”.

”Nothing will change” when Joe Rogan goes Spotify-exclusive. Wrong. It’s a PITA now not being able to watch via Apple TV.
