The order of my playlists used to be predictable and the same from desktop to mobile. But with a recent update, my playlists on mobile are in some inscrutable order. They're not presented by most recently created or most recently listened to, let alone the order that I dragged-and-dropped them into when I was creating them.    Note: this occurs when my phone is offline and displaying the playlists I've downloaded. Nevertheless, this is an issue worth solving.    (To be clear: this is not a complaint about the order of the songs within the playlists; that seems to be fine. With a recent update, the Home / Browse / Radio options are locked at the top of the sidebar. Which means, if you're streaming, the album art can take up nearly half of the sidebar and the static options at the top take up another significant portion, leaving the actual playlists difficult to scroll through.    (And, I've found, scrolling by gesture or mouse wheel will often result in scrolling past some of the playlists in the small window where they can be displayed. So if I have Playlist 1, 2, 3, 4, when I scroll down, the next displayed would be 6, 7, 8, 9.)    This problem could be reduced in intensity if I shrank the album art size, but why should I have to? If I wanted to click on Home / Browse / Radio, I can scroll up to the top. That's not difficult (and if Spotify is worried about ease of access, throw the three of those links at the top of the window). Up until recently, one of my favorite features of Spotify was being able to "Follow" playlists built by your friends, artists, or even Spotify. This was extremely convenient to enjoy an ever-expanding playlist that is added to or changed at the drop of a hat, and still remain up-to-date with all of the music contained within that particular playlist. Personally, I've curated numerous playlists designed specifically for certain individuals, specific feelings, etc. - I also personally follow several different playlists that are modified on a weekly basis. (e.g. Discover Weekly, Release Radar, Friday Cratediggers, Kaskade Connect) I have loved having easy access to new songs that my peers enjoy, and get immense enjoyment from adding a new track to a friend's playlist because "It immediately made me think of you!"   Unfortunately, one of the more recent updates has completely erased that feature; you can no longer "Follow" a playlist. You can only "Save" the songs currently contained within the playlist to your Liked Songs (i.e. Library; which is an entirely different issue on its own) or add the current list of tracks to a playlist that you have to create yourself.  This means, "Even though I made this playlist for you, and I add new music to is on a daily/weekly basis, I have to send it to you over-and-over-again any time I add something new, so you can "Like" it or save it to your own playlist."  Because convenience is key.   Kind of like how iPhones sections photos by date, I think it would be nice to be able to have our Liked Songs sectioned off by date that we added it to our library. Ever since the update, I haven't been able to just play songs I've liked by an artist. It's basically all of them or none of them. It seems like it would be a simple fix to just change it back? It's just annoying when I'm in the zone trying to do something and I have to keep stopping to skip a song I can't stand by an artist. Ive recently saved several new albums and I can’t find the individual songs in the liked songs playlist. Instead, I need to go find the recently saved/liked album and manually save every song on it to put it into the songs playlist. But I usually sort my newest music on top, so now I need to go thru the album backwards while liking each song so that they show up in the songs playlist in the right order. There are very few artists for which I want to be informed about their new releases, as such I have never used the 'follow' feature. Following the update, my artists list, which I used regularly, is now empty. While I understand that the change is great for a portion of users, it feels like it hasn't been done while thinking of how to make the change with minimal effect on the users who were happy with the app as it was. This could have been implemented by just allowing the user to choose between all artists or just followed artists. Users like myself would then be able to use the artists list as they always have, while the new feature would still be available for those who want to use it. The content filter should be device-specific. So, I could play everything on my desktop, but filter songs on the old phone my son sometimes uses.   Somewhere on this website, Spotify claims "If you apply the setting on your phone, it doesn't filter explicit content for the same account on the desktop app." This is simply NOT true. ... Hello! I think it would be awesome and convenient if you have a search bar in your actual playlist. Instead of scrolling and scrolling trying to find that song in your playlist, you could simply just search it in your playlist. I know what you are thinking, just search where they already have the search bar, and that works as well but when the song ends then you have to go BACK to the playlist. I hope this makes sense.  ... Hi, Spotify community!  I'm so happy for the "liked songs" feature and the library ui was updated.But same time, it make me some confused.   In old version, if I "save" the album, it also will liked all songs. When I remove the "save", the "like" remove too. But now that logic was gone. So that make my "liked songs" has many songs is not very like. Also, as the logic is gone, so I can't easily to remove the "like". I see "Like all songs" button, but where is "Unlike all songs"? :(   This version, If I "save" a album, it will savein the "Album" category in library, without "Like". That's great! When I "like" the song, it will show in the "Liked songs". Uh huh, good logic. ;)   But...is possible, can like old version that can clearly to see what I liked songs in "Album" category? Maybe can show the "like" in album page.   Or maybe can add a "liked" filter in "Album" category or when I choose "Sort liked song" is sort by album in "liked songs", can show the album pictures. The idea of setting music saved to your phone as an alarm tone is already possible in most phones. The issue here is, if you are a Spotify user, you most likely do not have the song on your phone other than through the Spotify application. This means your phone cannot find your songs.    Proposition: Integrate Spotify music into the phone alarm applications so that (if you own premium and have a song downloaded) you can select any song as the tone to your alarms. Perhaps like other applications, you can browse Spotify online and select one song even if you do not have premium.   Future Enhancements: -cropping of the selected song so that you can select a specific portion of a song. -apply this to ringtones and possibly other portions of the phone.   the more we move Into streaming services, the more Spotify should look into capitalizing any space where storing music locally on your phone is needed; it is becoming outdated. ...
