Ability to Change the Playlist Folder Image

Hello, I recently found out about playlist folders again on Spotify! It's such a great feature to organize my 50+ playlists that have either been made myself, made by others, or made by Spotify. Another great feature is changing the playlist picture on desktop!

It gives me the creative freedom to spruce up my playlists in the best way; however, it is an eyesore on mobile. 

I believe that Spotify should implement a feature to let users modify folder pictures on desktop (Hopefully they will implement changing either on mobile...) along with playlist pictures. Yes, this idea has been submitted many times, but I hope that this time it can have enough kudos! Thank you for reading!

That would be such a big win feature for the look and navigation. What is the current status, a lot of time has passed in the meantime. This is an absolute low-hanging fruit in terms of implementation and would benefit so many people.

If the upload is a problem in any kind, please at least, provide a bunch of covers we all can select from to make the folders distinguishable.

Found this thread trying to find how to add an image to a folder cover. Absolutely dumbfounded by the fact that this has not yet been implemented.

Spotify could enhance playlist folders by allowing custom profile images and distinct shapes to make them easier to recognize. Instead of just text-based folders, users could:

- Add Custom or Auto-Suggested Images for better organization
- Use Unique Shapes to differentiate folders from playlists
- Improve Navigation & Accessibility with visuals
- Personalize Folder Themes (e.g., genre-based icons, color options)

This would make Spotify more visually intuitive, organized, and user-friendly, especially for users with many playlists. Future expansions could include shared folders, AI-based sorting, and home screen widgets.

Would be easy to implement, should already be a feature
