[All Platforms][Playlists] View all playlist followers/who likes my playlists

I would really like the ability to view all of my playlist followers and I am sure I am not the only one. What I am suggesting is a simple system, where you could press on the "# Followers" section of the playlist Window:

allow view followers.png

I would suggest it would either give you a drop down of all the followers or even better (in my opinion), a redirect to another page with all the followers on it similar to the Following/Followers tab in the Follow page of the client.

Please add your kudos and any comments here!

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.

Thanks.

It's been so long why is this still not implemented?

Honestly i believe it was an posibility earlier, but for some reason not anymore????

I was under the impression that in the past we could see the followers of our own playlists but I can be mistaken.

Now it's not the case and that is a shame.

I would not only like to see the followers of my own playlist, I would appreciate if all playlist followers would be publicly visible, so that you can also see your colleague followers of certain playlists.

Why keeping this a secret for some and providing this data to others?

Imo it's this kind of behaviour that gives Spotify a bad reputation.

I love spotify and in my opinion there are a lot of lies spread about it, but it's this kind of secretcy and lack of transparency that feeds this perception of Spotify being a Music Industry marketing tool rather then a Music Lovers App.

I don't see why this would be marked as 'not right now' This was a feature on previous versions of spotify and it was removed. What is the point of REMOVING features that are helpful and that people use? Obviously the capability is there. Please bring this feature back.

@Jamiejbp @Vannerman Yes, it used to be possible.

I believe the avatars were selected followers from people you follow yourself, but I'm pretty sure that way back when, you were able to click the number of followers to get the whole list.

so now i've started to receive email notifications if someone follows a playlist, which is an improvement. but now the notifications icon in the app has dissappeared. so strange.

TheLittleBug

Yes! I'd love to see who is following my playlist!

Premium (paying) subscriber here. Really would appreciate this feature to come back!!! Not speaking for everyone, but i know just for myself it might be more motivating to want to jump on Spotify and check out if I might have any new followers. As well being a better chance to branch out socially and find others that are interested in what music I like.
This really seems like a "REALLY SPOTIFY" subject!

Way to many of your very own Spotify subscribers and users which are the ones that make it possible for Spotify to continue to exist, are showing their disappointment for not having this feature as well as very popular interest in wanting the feature.
Always and continually keep your users happy and satisfied. Especially when they are paying you.

What the f***. I'm a paying customer of your service so the least you could do is fix this easy fix problem. The money I've now spent on your premium service could've nearly hired the team to fix this. Step up your game. It's a highly demanded simple feature. Stop giving us the f*** around

It seems like such a shame that despite a huge appeal from the Spotify communitty that nothing has been done. I really do not think that receiving an email when someone follows a playlist is a workaround either.

I have been a customer for many years now, this was once an option and not entirely sure why it cannot be implemented once more. Also, rather disapointing that Spotify themselves seem reluctant to comment on such a discussed topic.

Definitely won't be holding my breath...
