Ability to "dislike" or "block" unwant content!

Due to autoplay playing like content that I've

listened to it automatically adds podcasts and content that I'm not interested in to my "Your shows" list. We should be able to control what content we don't want to listen to and have it blocked or removed from our subscriptions like any other subscription you have the ability to dislike content and therefore have it removed from your recommendations...

Spotify keeps suggesting me weird far-right podcasts in "Episodes for you" FOR DAYS even though I never ever even listened to a single podcast in Spotify. I use Spotify for music not podcasts and don't want to see suggestions for episodes at the top of my app (and pc version too)

We need a "Not interested" button asap.

I would also like to see this in in playlist areas. I like to fall asleep to random stuff, and lately, it’s been this guy called the French Whisperer. But, as Spotify loves to do, it takes liberties with my taste and starts serving up things it thinks I’ll like. The last two mornings, I’ve woken up to—ick—religious passages. I’ve never listened to religious music, podcasts, or audiobooks, so I have no clue why the algorithm thinks I need a spiritual awakening at 5 AM. I’ve been hitting the minus button and blocking artists, but how do I stop it from spoon-feeding me this nonsense?

  1. Unfortunately you can't stop it which is just absurd that we pay what we do for the service subscription just to be dictated to what content is auto played for us with no ability to dislike or remove specific podcasts or artists from our rotations. Seems like a very simple function to be given to us paying subscribers on the platform...

Can we have a song removal button for those songs that you don't like after downloading an album. instead of the hide option, which allows the very same songs that were hidden to be visible again. Just a removal or delete permanently option from an album.

I want to blacklist songs from certain countries. Would it be possible to have an indication or a flag indicating where the song comes from?

Hi Spotify!
I need to hide / dislike playlists so they dont appear ever again. I know  for sure I will never listen to "mates y musica" or some of those. I need to make space so Spotify recommends me music I will enjoy listening and the homepage will feel like truly mine! Now It seems Im peeping into my friend's.
Hiding / Disliking would work wonders with some slides too! also sending to the bottom could do the trick, but I really want to focus on what I like

Thanks!

I keep getting suggestions from artists I would never listen to and its frustrating not being able to remove it from new releases. Just add a like or dislike option for preferences.

It’s actually nuts. The podcasts I follow are NEVER in my list at the top. Even if I am halfway through an episode. But a podcast I have tried to remove repeatedly will. Not. Budge. Make it make sense how have they not FIXED THIS YET. Make a fkn ‘recommended’ section and leave us in peace as paying fkn customers.

Idea:
Block an Artist or Podcast globally. This blocks them from appearing in radio, shuffle, "fans also like", "More Podcasts Like this", etc. The point is not to have them get served to you anywhere on the app.

Context:
Morals and beliefs vary between many users. Using report may or may not be appropriate as peoples opinions are one thing and Spotify has another. Some (like myself) don't like using report as its too vague with the selections and we don't want repercussions because of "we believe it's fine and you're just a crazy customer so we'll ban you instead".  "do not play" may not be sufficient as it's the entire artist or podcaster wanting to be avoided. Even when "do not play" is applied, they can still show up when the intention is not to see them at all. Downvote/dislike or upvote/like doesn't help, it's too narrow for what is needed.

Examples:

Seeing an artist with a profile image where a woman is in underwear along with it being their album images. Some don't care about visually charged imagery, some do. Especially when it happens to come to parents concerning children or religious matters. Surprisingly, having the "Explicit" filter did nothing to combat this. While a report affects the community, a block just affects the user and those under them.

Some don't want particular podcasters served to them. Joe Rogan, Ben Shapiro, Jon Steward, Rachel Maddow, etc. Political examples aside, there are some seriously weird ones we don't want to come across ever again. Especially if they aren't okay for a younger audience.

AI. Some don't care, some do. There are those who don't want to be served AI generated content and want their premium funds to go to artists/podcasters proper. I'm surprised to have come across AI generated content and I can say I have mixed feelings with 50+ songs in the same year by one "artist". I'm sure some don't want their radio/shuffle filled with AI laziness.

Have you ever had a bad experience with a certain artist, song, or podcast? Or have you ever listened to a genre of music and just didn’t care for it but no matter how much you try the not interested future certain songs will still slip through the cracks? Why not just block the entire song, artist, or podcast that’s what I would like to see. If you would like the same thing, then give this topic and up vote!
