Add 2FA instead of a stupid password reset when using a VPN

I'm sick of it. Every time I turn on my VPN, my password is reset.
1) Add trusted devices.
2) 2FA
3) Allow user to turn off auto reset password in account settings.

I'm not the only one, there's people all over the internet getting angry about it, for example:
