Add a "Remove" option for "Your shows"

  1. Privacy and Discretion: Not all podcasts are created equal, and not every episode is suitable for every audience. Some podcasts may delve into adult content, discuss personal matters, or explore topics that users might want to keep private or away from prying eyes. It's crucial to give users the power to curate what's visible on their homepage.

  2. Tailored Listening Experience: Spotify has always thrived on providing a personalized experience, whether it's through Discover Weekly playlists or custom-curated radio stations. Allowing users to remove specific podcasts from their homepage ensures that their listening experience remains tailored to their preferences.

  3. User Empowerment: Empowering users with choices enhances their overall experience and strengthens their loyalty to the platform. Giving users the ability to manage their "Your Shows" section demonstrates that Spotify values their preferences and respects their desire for privacy and customization.

Implementing this feature could be straightforward and user-friendly:

    1. Long-Press or Right-Click: To remove a podcast from "Your Shows," users could long-press (for mobile) or right-click (for desktop) on the podcast thumbnail or title.

    2. 'Remove from "Your Shows"': After performing the long-press or right-click, a menu would appear, offering the option to "Remove from Your Shows."

    3. Undo Option: Mistakes happen, and users might accidentally remove a podcast. Spotify can include an "Undo" button or a recently removed list for easy retrieval.

yes this would be great, some podcasts should not appear on your first splash screen when you load up the Chromecast or app. makes me want to use another service that these can't be removed

There are so many posts about this going back years... hopefully they will implement soon.

It’s just impossible that people are asking for that for such a long time and nothing has changed.

I was looking for ways to remove podcasts from Your Shows and Recently Played list and went through a rabbit hole of posts dating back years ago! Spotify should implement this feature soon. This is just silly for premium users to see podcasts in their home screen which they do not want to see.

How is this not a default option? My wife used a white noise podcast for a single episode once and now every time these random people release a new soundscape Spotify thinks I care.

Also annoying that it's not clever enough to figure out that if I subcribe to the paid version of a show I no longer want notifications about the free version of the exact same thing.

If I want to follow a podcast, I will click the 'follow' button in the podcast page, surely that's what it is there for? Why force things I haven't asked for down my throat for all eternity because I listened to an episode once?

It's horrible that this basic functionality needs to be up-voted.

I can't believe I'm paying for premium and can't simply remove a show from my "your shows" view.  Very infuriating.  This is a simple fix, so I'm not sure why they are choosing NOT to implement the fix?
