Add a "dislike" button, so the algorithm will stop playing songs I dislike

Hi there, i'm Rodrigo

I noticed that after some of my playlists are over i get the random songs, but sometimes this things is playing songs i'm starting to dislike. I liked them before, but the software is so annoying that plays this songs constantly that made me dislike them.

So, how about to add a "dislike" button for songs? I mean, right now the software only allows us to "like" the songs and to add them to our favorites.

Please, improve the UI.

Cheers,

-Rodrigo.

Bring back the option to dislike a song. You use to be able to dislike a song and never hear it again. Now you have to dislike the artist completely and then never hear their music. Please bring back the disliking of a single song, vs the whole artist.

I miss the option where you could block song and or even artist from poping up in playlists.

I've been a Spotify subscriber for probably 10 years (?).  This feature is essential, because the Spotify recommendations are pretty hit-or-miss.  Today the "Dislike" button disappeared from the Discovery playlist for some reason (maybe a bug?).  I'm a little jaded at this point, and always wonder in the back of my mind whether there's an enterprising product manager trying to game things with this kind of change, so that we end up listening to artists or songs we wouldn't listen to otherwise.

If the ability to kill songs (and artists) gradually goes away, I'll definitely end my Spotify subscription.  If anyone with the ability to make decisions reads this — I am a Spotify fan, but I hope you'll read this and think about it.

I wonder if Spotify will listen to their customers?
I also support this idea, and would like the ability to dislike songs to further feed the algorithm in understanding my taste

I will not subscribe again if this is not reverted.

Why is the dislike button, such an important tool to let Spotify know my taste and tune my recommendations only available on playlists created by Spotify? I don’t get it. I want it on all playlists please!

I'm tired of thinking about how Spotify could improve. Why should I? It's like working for free. Spotify has no interest whatsoever in becoming more user friendly or allowing subscribers to listen to the music they want to listen to. They only want to win us over into liking the music they want us to listen too. I am disgusted yet continuing for the access to music. It is possible to avoid music you don't want to listen to. For that reason my protest is to withhold my insights on improvement. If they want my ideas the are going to pay, and pay heavily.

I'm a fan of, like, not for this mix, and dislike. 👍👉👎 Asking spot to remove or block at a request from one person's OPINION might be a technical challenge. The "action" or "vote" could be a useful statistics to take in consideration. I see new improved mixes appearing that contains many of my "Liked" tracks. I can't be sure which came first. But it works for me. They also could be watching "SKIPPED" tracks, but wouldn't know why they were skipped. The overall number of plays would be a consideration.

Another option within our individual SPOT Apps would auto skip for a tagged song, Spot could monitor for their statics.

The inability to dislike a song is needed very badly. I avoid listening to new music on Spotify because if it turns out I do not like the song or band, Spotify will begin playing it back to me, over and over and over...

I go elsewhere to check out new music and only listen to songs & groups I know I like on Spotify. I seriously avoid the recommended song lists like the Daily for the same reason.

Could you add thumbs up and thumbs down buttons to songs? For example when I listen to playlist made for me, I could give more input how well algorithm works. And get better suggestions.
