Add an AI-powered ‘Organize Liked Songs’ feature inside Liked Songs

Idea Description

Current experience
The “Liked Songs” section is a single, ever-growing list. Over time, users can easily accumulate hundreds or thousands of liked tracks. While liking a song is simple, navigating and reusing this collection becomes increasingly difficult, especially for large libraries. At the moment, liked songs can only be sorted manually, which makes rediscovering music or creating structure time-consuming.

Proposed improvement
Add an AI-powered Organize option inside Liked Songs that analyzes the user’s liked tracks and automatically groups them in a structured way. The AI would analyze existing metadata such as artist, genre or sub-genre, release year, and mood or energy. Based on this analysis, the feature would organize liked songs into clear groupings that the user can easily explore.

How it would work
Inside Liked Songs, a new option like Organize with AI would be available. When activated, it would intelligently organize the liked songs collection, making it easier to browse and reuse the user’s own music. From these organized groups, users could optionally save playlists generated from their liked songs.

Why this improves Spotify
This feature gives more long-term value to the Like action, makes large music libraries feel personal instead of overwhelming, helps users rediscover music they already enjoy, and uses AI in a practical, transparent, and user-controlled way.

As a Systems Engineering student with a strong interest in frontend and product design, I find features like this especially inspiring. Thanks for providing a space where users can share ideas to improve Spotify.

I’ve attached a simple mockup to illustrate how this feature could fit naturally into the Liked Songs interface.
