Add genre labels to artist biography

Hello engineers! As someone who is learning to DJ/Produce music I would love it if you added the ability to see a quick reference of genres each artist produces in their biography. This would make it easier to add to future set playlists, particularly for types of EDM that ride the line between genres or artists that are known for producing music in multiple genres/crossovers. I would also love to see more extended versions added to the platform for building sets specifically, and the ability to remove genres from blended playlists. Absolutely love the blended playlist feature-I've found lots of good new music that way. Thanks for all you do!

Great idea! I've always wanted to be able to see and control genres of albums, suggested mixes, blends etc. It would be good if not only to label artists by genre, but also individual songs, because many bands write songs in different genres. I hope Spotify will integrate some AI-powered genre-labeling system with the option for the artists to modify genres manually.

For now genre only lives in some playlists names and hidden markers for the annual user recap T_T
