Add the music video feature for all Premium users

It’s been nearly a year since the music video feature was introduced, yet many users still don’t have access, including those in the original 11 launch countries like the UK. At this point, it’s hard to consider this just “temporary testing” or a “beta” phase when it seems more like a permanent rollout for only a select group. Given that all premium users pay the same price, it’s only fair that we receive the same features. It’s time for more transparency and equal access.

Soy usuario premium en un plan familiar, todos mis familiares tienen la opción de video, pero mi perfil no me sale la opción aún. Ya actualice la aplicación y no me deja desde ningún dispositivo 😢

Me parece injusto que no ofrezcan verdaderas soluciones, ya la actualización lleva meses y todavía no puedo ver videos musicales, tengo un plan duo y mi hermano si puede ver los videos. Y ya sé que el problema no es mi dispositivo (Xiaomi 13T, Android 14)

I have been waiting for videos since September and the explanation is always the same - the feature is gradually made available to the users. All other accounts on my family plan have it but not mine. Since mine is the primary I'm wondering if spotify is really trying to push me to another service provider?!

why cant i switch to video? i use spotify on my pc, phone and tv but there isnt a option to switch to video(I have premium)

Em nenhum de meus aparelhos não aparece a opção de ver vídeoclipes das músicas, como segue o print do pc e do celular:

Já realizei todos os procedimentos solicitados pelo suporte, como reinstalação limpa (Limpeza de dados, cache, exclusão de arquivos etc) e todos os sistemas atualizados. Alguém teria uma ideia do problema? Já sou assinante Premium há um tempo.

 

(Marcaram como resolvido, mas sem me responderem. Então estou abrindo novamente)

 The option to switch to video doesn't appear to me, and I arrive

Reading through threads here it is now clear there is an issue with the main account holder of duo or family plans being able to access music videos. I have this same issue. 

I have the duo plan and the other user has had music videos for over 6-8 months. I have never had access. 

Multiple different chats below also appear to show exactly the same thing, but the message that keeps getting repeated is “it’s rolling out”. This can’t be a coincidence. There must be an issue here that should be investigated.

Ive tried everything to get this feature to work now, both mac, phone and web browser. I am in a supported country (Norway) and have a premium subscription. The button for music videos simply does not appear for me. Everyone i've asked has this available, how come it not enabled to my account?

Eu não consigo ver os videoclipes no aplicativo do meu celular. Não aparece a opção.

Everyone has had the feature since November. I’m literally the only person without it. And I’ve asked over 200 people. 

Some support members say I should have it. Some say it’s coming but been 5 months now. Other support just end chat or don’t reply to emails. 

spotify support is the worst. My thoughts are that a few accounts can’t get it and they don’t know what’s wrong. 

no compensation for paying for a premium service but not receiving all premium features. They say it’s rolling out so can’t refund or can’t manually add it. It’s a big **bleep** up and they have no idea about their own software support. **bleep** poor form
