Add the music video feature for all Premium users

It’s been nearly a year since the music video feature was introduced, yet many users still don’t have access, including those in the original 11 launch countries like the UK. At this point, it’s hard to consider this just “temporary testing” or a “beta” phase when it seems more like a permanent rollout for only a select group. Given that all premium users pay the same price, it’s only fair that we receive the same features. It’s time for more transparency and equal access.

Everyone has had the feature since November. I’m literally the only person without it. And I’ve asked over 200 people. 

Some support members say I should have it. Some say it’s coming but been 5 months now. Other support just end chat or don’t reply to emails. 

spotify support is the worst. My thoughts are that a few accounts can’t get it and they don’t know what’s wrong. 

no compensation for paying for a premium service but not receiving all premium features. They say it’s rolling out so can’t refund or can’t manually add it. It’s a big **bleep** up and they have no idea about their own software support. **bleep** poor form

I have premium and it's not there. I know it was batches of users at a time but it's been nearly a year now!!! How do I see them?!?!

I have exactly the same issue, emailed spotify back and forth so many times and they said the same excuse to me.

All my mates can connect to my fire stick and get the video options, when I connect I get no options at all.

its nothing to do with the devices. What I’ve come to realise, if you’ve been with Spotify for a long time, I’ve been with them over 10 years, then they just don’t bother giving you the new features. Or don’t support old accounts.

My only option is to make a new account, and transfer all my playlists over to the new account which they stated, can only be performed once and il loose all my suggested playlists based on my 10+ years of listening.

Absolute shambles. Really cannot believe the lack of support for lengthy users. They no longer reply to my emails on the topic anymore.

Hello, I have a problem with video not working in Spotify Premium, on other accounts it worked normally, here it doesn't work, I changed all the options and it doesn't work, does anyone know what might be causing this?

I have just upgraded my subscription to a premium duo account . The second account has the option to switch to video , but the plan holder account does not have ( and never has had ) the option to switch to video

Thanks, might give that a go. Probably just use my wife’s account though as she has the option to use video where available. Still a rubbish situation to be in.

Love the app, best app ever for those who love music…just wish they’d sort this out!!

Why are the music videos restricted to Spotify Connect? When casting to Chromecast built-in TVs, not speakers, you can't switch to music videos.

Same issue here, each of my family members on the family plan had gotten the feature. It seems all my friends have as well… meanwhile I’m still waiting.

I also have the same problem, I have never had the feature and it has come out in Sweden so I should have it but I haven't and everyone I talk to has the feature but I haven't I have updated the app on all devices and the photos don't work and I have been waiting since it came out and I really want it because I don't want to use YouTube for music videos and yes I have contacted Spotify too and the first time they said I just have to wait and then the second time they said I still have to wait so I have been waiting for almost 2 years or so how is it going it has been going almost no how is it going so I have to wait so will I get it or will we just have to wait and wait and wait

If there was an alternative to Spotify, that showed the videos, I’d have jumped, but having spent years building up my Playlist(s), I’m tied in…..suspect the Spotify powers know that.
….. and don’t get me started on the ‘shuffle’! 🙄
