[Ads] Ads Filter

I know we can't pick and choose what ads to see, but at least for a teensy bit of decency (especially for people listening to spotify in a professional work environment) can we not have half naked Victoria's Secret super sexy models?

Personally, I could care less about ads. And in fact, I am a woman who shops at Victoria's Secret. Still- I just had an awkward moment with some coworkers AND my boss. I'd like very much for that not to happen again. In the very least, how about an image that isn't half the size of the window?

I know no one's going to agree, and believe me, I'd be the last person to complain about spotify (it's awesome). But seriously, it's a bit much.

Thanks.

hpguru, this may be a duplicate idea, but it seems that the people at Sptify don't care about this issue, that is the cause for a duplicate issue with so many upset users.

Yes I think there should be a feature that removes "Adult Ads" especally for people under thrteen because that is where most of the online audence is coming form.I think ads are ok just not the adult ads.

I just had that stupid Adult Ad play, I find this a problem. Labor Day I held a party at my house, I used Spotify for music. Only to have the condom commerical play, their were kids around. They asked what "SEX" was and "CONDOM". Their ages are anywhere from 5-8 years old. I think that Spotify should look into a Adult Ad removal.

The Safe for Work setting is a MUST!

Hey folks!

Spotify is reviewing all ideas and feedbacks here. However it might take time to implement things like this.

In the meantime keep your feedback coming.

As soon as Spotify will have news for you, you will be informed.

Thank you for using Spotify.

It's not even just the visual ads, it's the audio ads as well. Commercials for condoms and movies that are about phone sex, really? I'd rather hear ads that are about MUSIC, for one. Secondly those ads are just inappropriate for work or at home, and because Spotify doesn't have too many ads I have to hear these multiple times. It drives me mad. There's no option to turn off these NSFW ads. Please add an option at the very least.

Actually, regarding muting the sex ads, I can't even do that. When I mute my computer the ads pause. It's really aggravating and disgusting.

I am a teacher and I used to listen to Spotify during my planning periods. However, I can't do that anymore after that embarrassing Durex ad came on one time, not to mention that movie ad about a call girl service.

I don't mind ads because I don't pay for Spotify. But I'd really appreciate a "don't play this again" button or tailoring ads to my preferences.

I really like Spotify, outside of the adult ads. Please consider this change, Spotify.

...I was playing music in the dining commons while studying for the organic chemistry exam. Then the music stopped and the condom ad appeared. This was embarrassing. I don't mind the normal ads, just remove the embarrassing ones, please. I dont think that the entire dining commons has to remember Spotify (and me) for the condom ads.

The ads that Spotify allows to play tell something about Spotify, and unfortunately, also about the people who use Spotify. I don't want to be one of those people.

I'll put up with this for another week and then unsubscribe from Spotify if nothing is done about the sex related ads.

Please remove Durex add! 😞
