This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Now I have an erotic playlist on my home page and apperantly you cannot change your home page.

I now have PERMANENTLY a vagina on my homepage. I'm absolutely FUMING that I cannot change this on my home page. HOW IS THIS IDEA 3 YEARS OLD WHEN IT SOUNDS SO FRICKING BASIC!!!

It's ridiculous that this isn't an option. Someone opened an erotic podcast on one of my devices and now I have a vagina on my home-screen that I cannot remove. How is such a simple functionality, even just DELETING a podcast/playlist from your home page, not an option? It feels like I just have to remove my spotify account and start a new one!!!

You've got to be kidding with deciding not to implement this "right now". I do not want to listen to Joe Rogan's bigoted pseudointellectual nonsense, and I never will. And the irony of seeing him promoted next to Pride and BIPOC-themed playlists is incredible but I guess it's just a reminder that corporations don't actually care about hot-button issues. They'll just do what makes them money.

Hey Spotify, Get out of my life with your rubbish content! It isn't about your plans (duh) but it should be about user needs. Get it right and stop lying to protect your big money deals with right wing misinformation podcasters. Not to mention the terrible experience of permanently seeing content I hate as soon as I open the app and every time i go to the home screen. Simply awful.

I've literally only listened to a few episodes and my whole front page is podcasts now. Huge mistake

So allowing me to hide inappropriate content that I dislike intensely, do not want to listen to, that is suggested by your algorithms, and which I have to hide from my daughter each time I open the app is not something you feel is important.

When and how can we have a protest against this previously cool company.  They got me 10 years ago on the greatness of their app, but now they're becoming the reason why I go back to piracy.  

I'm going to make an app that streams all the torrents, this is technically possible, and only because Spotify dropped the ball.  I'm fed up with their sht podcasts like C-u-m Town, and sht like that appearing on my screen.  And I'm fed up of these fkin dckheds not answering anyones problems regarding this issue, especially NSFW podcasts (wth??? you don't even allow us to write **bleep** on here but have no issues having a podcast on my home page called C-U-M Town, ffs

Remove the podcast section from the homepage or provide an ability to remove specific podcasts from showing up. The inability to do this is ridiculous. Even as a paying customer.

It annoys me that I can't get rid of a podcast on my home screen that I no longer subscribe to. I want it to show my current favorite podcast instead, but the place is occupied. This should be a quick fix. How hard can it be to implement a remove function for these tiles... cmon.
