[All Platforms] I want complete history of all songs

I want to be able to view all songs I have listened to. I will remember some song I was listening to a few months ago and can't remember the name. I want to be able to see EVERY SONG I HAVE EVER PLAYED. Also being able to delete songs from history that I didn't like which creates suggestions for songs I don't like would be nice. I WANT TO SEE EVERY SONG I HAVE EVER PLAYED. DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU HAVE A HISTORY FEATURE ALREADY. IT'S NOT TRUE. THANK YOU!!!

Subject: Feature Suggestion – Full Listening History

Hello Spotify team,

I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would be very useful for many listeners.

On YouTube there is a “History” section, which allows you to see every video you have watched in strict chronological order, even months later. This is extremely convenient when you want to re-watch something you had discovered by chance, or simply to track your daily activity.

On Spotify, however, the “Recently Played” section feels very limited. It only shows playlists, albums or artists, but not the individual tracks I have actually listened to. For example, if I listen to only five songs from a long playlist, Spotify only shows me the playlist as a whole. Later, if I want to remember exactly which songs they were, it becomes impossible, since opening the playlist just shows all hundreds of tracks again, not the specific ones I played.

A proper chronological list of every track listened to (even just for the last week or month) would be extremely useful. It could help people rediscover music they didn’t save at the time, or, like in my personal case, allow me to measure the length of my yoga sessions based on the songs I listened to that morning.

If such a feature already exists, it’s very hard to find. If not, I strongly believe it would add real value for both free and premium users.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Best regards,

qtph775

I can't find a song I've listened to several years ago and just realized that history never existed. If there are space constrains then limited number of items can be offered in history. But at least more then dozen will be helpful

It probably has already been mentioned in this idea, but Spotify offers downloading your complete streaming history in the Privacy tab of your account settings. The file(s) will be in JSON format, and you can use it to import it to sites like Stats.fm, .fmbot on Discord or Last.fm with the external free Windows desktop tool Last.fm Scrubbler. The latter can only import them with the current date though, not with the original timestamps.
