[All Platforms] Light Mode option

Hi,

The new white text on black design physically hurts my eyes and gives very bad ghosting (i.e. persistent image like those in optical illusions that make you stare at particular color combinations and then look away). I know I'm not the only one with this issue because I've researched it in the past. Without an option to switch back to the old design (White background/black text), I'll need to delete my Spotify account and find another service. Please add an option to switch between the two (because I know many prefer black backgrounds). Myself and a host of others, however, cannot use these color combinations. Please let me know if there is a work-around; it would be much appreciated. It's basically unusable to me in it's current state.

For some people, light mode is not only confort, it’s necessary. I’ve got astigmatism and for me the dark mode quickly tires my eyes and i cant enjoy my premium account for a long time. 
i love your app, your Linux client, and your algorithm suggestion. 
So please, if you can add light mode on your road map, it’s could be realy cool.

Why does every UI change on Spotify change dumb things like font sizes and re-arrange album info, then they ignore a simple feature request like this dating back to 2016 ? Getting sick of this platform, mostly your garbage Desktop + Android app.

Make sure to stay on a free account and use ad blockers so they don't make any money from you if you must stay on Spoticrap

I'm new to spotify and I am struggling with the current layout. I have searched through the app setting to see if I could change this and surprised there is no option. I have come across some previous ideas submitted for updating background colours that would be more user-friendly in particular for those who suffer astigmatism. I understand this isn't in your best interest to prioritise however to highlight some of the issues an individual may face when trying to read white text on black background are blurred vision or visual fuzzing effect "halation", reduce readability of text, eye-strain, headaches, in extreme cases nausea. Approx half the population has some degree of astigmatism, hence why most devices and apps are designed to allow a toggle feature for both preferences, dark or light mode. Unfortunately, I cannot use the app with ease. I do hope this is something your platform would consider and introduce in the near future.

+1 to being able to toggle light/dark mode on all platforms.  Dark mode tends to give me eye strain so the ability to toggle it would be helpful.

It's clear by now they will not listen to anything said in this thread, your time would be better spent writing your complains in app store reviews. They at least read that.
