[All Platforms] Organize Liked Songs by genre

I like the new update where you can save music into the "Liked Songs" group where it sorts music by song, album, and artist. There should also be another filter: Genre. I listen to all different genres but there are times when I want to listen to only one type of music.

This is a great idea, and I want to point out that continuing/enhancing the features on everynoise.com (if you don't know what that is, I highly encourage you to check it out) would help greatly with proper genre tagging, which would make this feature possible.

Spotify could introduce a feature that allows users to organize their "Liked Songs" by genre, making it easier to navigate their music library and quickly find songs to add to playlists. When the songs are divided into sections based on genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, or electronic, users would have a much clearer overview of their music.

This genre-based categorization would not only make it easier to find songs but also streamline the process of adding music to new or existing playlists. For example, if someone wants to create a playlist with only electronic music, they could quickly filter or sort their "Liked Songs" and drag the relevant tracks into the playlist - without having to scroll through all of their songs manually.

Additionally, Spotify could include a feature that allows users to add songs directly to a playlist with a single click while viewing genre-filtered music. This would make it much more efficient to curate and update playlists, saving time and making the music experience smoother and more personalized.

I Think you guys should add a Search Genre Feature, In my Liked Songs I want to see all my “grunge” music however the little Bubble genre suggestions doesn’t have it. So I think that would be such a helpful and cool feature!

there should be an option of automatically SORTING your LIKED SONGS per GENRE and put them in Playlists/Genre groups !

also it should be possible to SORT the songs within a playlist according to the Genres !

Hello, everything you explain is very good, but it is not the solution for millions of Spotify customers who need their playlists to be able to be filtered by song genres. You don't know how difficult and inappropriate it is to add songs of different genres to your playlist and then have to search with a magnifying glass for a song of a certain genre in that list and even more so if it has more than 1000 songs. Please make it possible, thank you.

This is precisely the problem, like any company that offers a service I know the genre filter that it's only working in some countries, but not in others, as is the case specifically in my country.

I truly believe that Spotify is an excellent platform, but if they don't quickly take into account what their customers are asking for, they'll end up like others in the past, sidelining new options. Then they shouldn't complain when that option already exists. This is where they should understand that we can switch providers; look at other services very similar to Spotify online.
