[All Platforms][Other] Allow multiple profiles on the same device so our music preferences don't mix

For those of us with small children, we have to play their music and our music from a single Spotify account since they're not yet old enough to have their own devices. This results in recommended playlists with both their music and our music, which is unusable. I did try Spotify Kids, and it’s so different from the normal Spotify app it was unusable to me - I don’t have bandwidth or patience to mess with the Kids app.

Provide a way for us to switch between profiles within a single account or easily toggle between accounts on the same device.

I'm happy to pay for Spotify Duo or the Family plan if I could easily navigate between accounts from the same device without having to log out and back in again.

We should have an option to listen music that doesn't affect our preferences.

My kids ask me to play kids music for them and that affects my music preferences and messes up my DJ and recommendations.

Or sometimes we have someone else in the car and play their kind of music and also affects my recommendations.

This is still a huge issue for people. It never occurred to me (or thousands of other users) to comment here, but that doesn't mean it's not an issue. Check out this Reddit thread in r/toddlers about how using their profile for kids songs had ruined their SpotifyWrapped that has been upvoted 1300 times in the last day. It's annoying. Please deal with it!!!!

Hi Spotify team,

I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe could greatly enhance the user experience for many people:
the ability to create separate user profiles within a single Spotify account, similar to how it works on Netflix.

For example, I use Spotify both for my personal listening and to play music for my baby. Currently, all the songs mix together in the algorithm, playlists, and recommendations — which affects the overall experience.

I’ve also spoken with several colleagues who experience the same frustration: when different types of music are played (e.g., for kids, relaxation, or background music), it ends up affecting the recommendations and the general feel of their account.
Having the option to create separate internal profiles would make it much easier to organize different listening needs without disrupting the personalization of the main account.

I hope you’ll consider adding this feature in the future.
