Spotify has the option of putting on a sleep timer while listening to podcasts. I love this feature and use it often. The time increments go from five minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes to an hour. It would be nice to also have a customizable timer, much like audible does for their audiobooks. The 15 minute increments are a little long and it would be nice to sometimes put on a timer for 25 minutes or 30 minutes, etc. You could also put the option 'until the end of the playlist' or 'until the end of the queue'.

Currently spotify has seven options: a timer for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, one hour or until the end of the song. However, I highly doubt I’m the only one who would prefer more options, such as perhaps being able to set a timer yourself. The layout could be similar to the timer of the clock app, where you can choose the duration for the songs playing of up to 24 hours.

Apart from this, a second feature could be possible, where the music starts playing after a certain time. This could be used as an alarm, where the spotify user wakes up to the sound of their favourite song.

Sleep Timer is already a nice feature but it can further be improved by adding more options, including the following:

1. More/Additional Preset Timers: 1hr 30 mins, 2hrs, etc.
2. Custom Duration: User can input number of minutes or hours (e.g., 70 mins, 2hrs, 2hrs 30 mins, etc.)
3. End of Queue: User can add songs to a queue and put sleep timer to "End of Queue" such that it only encompasses tracks that are added to the queue
4. End of Playlist: this comes in handy for user created playlists and other playlists. 

Please consider these ideas or any related variations. Thank you!

Needs 73 more 👍🏽 to get in to development but if they added all the dozens and dozens of requests together they would have had thousands but they keep closing because of lack of people voting.

Just do it Spotify. Give people what they want.

To be able to set sleep timer to be at the end of a certain track you have scheduled, as a second option to the time increments currently offered

Currently for the sleep timer feature there is only a few time options, with 1 hour being the longest. There's also end of track as an option. End of album or playlist should be an option. Or at least longer time options.

This is such an easy change and so important to the user experience. I am surprised this was posted 2 years ago without resolution? I would imagine Spotify can take action on good ideas even if it doesn’t have thousands of votes? Not everyone knows about the ideas to be voted on. Doesn’t mean everyone is not wishing for this! Some users may just leave Spotify and not vote or say a thing if some basic features are not there that they need.

All my other audio apps have an option to set a custom sleep timer, where you can choose the amount of minutes yourself. Please add this feature so I can set the number of minutes I would like. Especially if I want to listen to audiobooks it's essential, but same for long format podcasts. 

This has been my main annoyance with Spotify for a long time, so please, please fix it!

It’s bothered me that this isn’t a feature yet but having an option for the music to stop playing once the queue finishes is a missed opportunity. It’s either end of a song or it’s gonna stop in like 5 min in the middle of a song.
