[All Platforms][Other] Multiple equalizer presets for different devices

I would really love it if you added the ability to add custom Spotify presets. I use different custom equalizers for different speakers/headphones and it always gets frustrating having to change it every time.

I use Spotify for several different audio devices.  The equalization setting works great but for only one device.  As an example, when I switch from using Spotify with my car to my home sound system or my ear buds or my JBL portable speaker I have to spend time adjusting the equalization each time which kind of kills the moment.  Then when I go back to my previous device I have to switch EQ again.

Suggestion - allow multiple EQ settings.  Even if I have to manually change to the correct EQ settings would be ok, but device auto detect for EQ would be better.

I love listening to music in different environments, and on different devices. I have set up my equalizer compatible best with my headphones, but it doesn’t sound as good as my headphones when I’m in a car or when I study on my laptop. So I have to change my settings by playing with the equalizer each time. So I thought it would be great if we had “Playback profiles” tab on “Playback”. We could name our profiles such as “my Car”,”my bluetooth speaker”, “PC” etc. or we could switch to another profile to listen to a song as if we are hearing it as if we are in a party sitting on a toilet. We could name our profiles as “in the party bathroom” etc. and apply that profile instead of redoing adjustments over and over again.

hi! i regularly use equalizers on the app and i think having an option to SAVE the ones WE make would be amazing!

It would be really useful to have the option to save and switch between multiple equaliser profiles in the Spotify app. For example, the equaliser settings I use for my AirPods are great for them, but they sound terrible when I switch to a speaker. A drop-down menu to quickly switch between preset profiles (e.g. “AirPods,” “Speaker,” “Car,” etc.), with one set as the default, would improve the listening experience across devices.

This feature would save time and provide better sound quality without needing to manually adjust the equaliser each time we change devices.

Being able to save custom equalizer settings would be a game changer for Spotify. Because cars have different speakers, being able to alternate settings rather than having to manually do it every single time will be less time consuming and beneficial. Apart from cars, listening to music on headphones is different as well. So if this can please be added as soon as possible, I’m pretty sure majority of the Spotify Users would be thankful for it. Thanks

Hi!

when listening in on different mediums (phone speaker, car & various outputs) i need to rebalance the equaliser. Is it not an easy software patch to have customisable presets? Love to hear your feedback on this.

Kind Regards and avid user!

For those of us with multiple listening devices that we like to use, and with the unfortunate truth that those devices vary wildly in their performance and ranges, it would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to make multiple preset options to select in the equalizer. Here's an example: say I am listening to music in some earbuds in the morning, and when I head to the beach I bring my speaker that has extra dirty bass. It would be a lot easier to select between the options "earbud" and "speaker" with a single press than it currently is to manually adjust the equalizer each time.

Spotify should really look into adding to the equalizer setting within the app. what I mean by this is having different presets for the equalizer. I use my headphones and truck stereo daily just like everyone else but I always have to tweak my equalizer because of the back and forth switch between those two. This is just for personal preference, it gets tedious getting it just right every time.

I'd love if we could change the frequency our music plays at too, having this freedom would be awesome
