Despite paying for Spotify Premium, I still hear adverts that content creators embed within their podcasts.
Whilst this is fine for free users, I am paying for the service so that I do not receive ads. The content creators are getting paid for me listening, therefore I think it only fair that premium skips/removes these ads or gives the creator the option to upload a version with ads, and a version without. Spotify could allow the creator to flag the start/finish of their ads for automatic skipping for premium users.
I understand that this is potentially hard to enforce as it is between podcast sponsor and content creator but there is no real reason for me to stay with premium if I am getting the same experience as a free user.
