[All Platforms][Podcasts] Option to disable or hide podcasts entirely

I don't listen to podcasts and don't intend to. But it currently takes up valuable space in both the Spotify mobile app and also in Android Auto. It's annoying having to see podcasts all the time when I don't care for them and don't want to see them.

Is it not reasonable to just have a toggle to show podcasts or not?

A setting to hide all things related to podcasts and/or audiobooks. I personally do not listen to podcasts and I’d rather listen to audiobooks on Audible. These are just filler I constantly have to sift through or mentally ignore and I would much rather just hide/remove them all entirely from ever showing up again. To reiterate I don’t mean on certain pages like Home Screen. I mean anything and everything related to podcasts and audiobooks; that includes “new releases” or “recommended” playlists regarding these items as well. Me and I’m sure many other users would appreciate it.

I wish Spotify would remember the last selected item there when I choose „Music“, instead of resetting it every time when the app is closed in the background and opened later. It always goes back to „All“…

Can you please at the very least make the app remember and return to „Music“ when it’s closed and opened? (On all platforms, mobile, TV) This way I can avoid the annoying podcasts, audiobooks **bleep** you’re forcing on me constantly…

I need this!! Spotify will automatically play unrelated podcasts that I don't even follow after playing a podcast that I do follow. It's very annoying how Spotify has been trying to shove down our throats the overpriced podcasts that they've bought.

We will probably need 10 trillion votes before Spotify execs decide to remove the non-music **bleep** from the app..

Why can’t they maintain two apps? One main app for MUSIC ONLY. And a secondary app for the other audio **bleep** such as podcasts, audiobooks, and whatever **bleep** else there is.

This needs to be seriously considered for implementation, because it will improve the autoplay massively. I'm getting fed up with autoplay switching to uninteresting stupid golf podcast episodes after my preferred episodes, just because my husband listened ONCE on my account to one. It's so annoying.

Recommendations are absolute trash and hiding unwanted content is the only way to fix this problem
