I would like to see the ability to put whole podcast shows into folders to be able to organise them better. the same way you can do with episodes or music albums.

Categories in the library could be sorted into,

Publishers like, Acast, Freakonomics, BBC...

Or

By location focus, French, US, International, Pacific...

Or

By category, Business, History, Politics, Comedy...

I used Stitcher Radio as my podcast app, and now that it's been killed by SiriusXM, I am searching for an alternative. Within Stitcher, users were able to sort podcasts into folders, and within those folders, see a list of the most recent episodes. Now that Stitcher is dead, Spotify has the opportunity to become the #1 podcast app if they allow these functions and more.

How is this still not a feature? As if we could call it that, we're literally talking about organizing your library. This is complete nonsense on its own already, but having to wait for what, 10+ years to get basic file structure functionality (which still isn't in the app) is some heinous stuff. Same for voice commands, or basic features like quickly adding songs to your liked songs from the lock screen or something. Get it together, for crying out loud.

Spotify just needs another 500 people to tell them about their horrible experience before they do anything about it. Excellent product management technique.

Spotify is an excellent platform for music but it's really lacking in its podcast organization abilities compared to a more mature platform like Pocket Casts.

I'd like to be able to put podcast feeds into a folder and custom order them (or have unlimited pins) so I can see my favorites.

Not fixing this issue is disincentivising my use of Spotify, as my library is increasingly cluttered with podcasts which I want to have a link to, but aren't actively listening to. It also hides all of my playlists without another click. This is a bad experience and it would DRAMATICALLY improve Spotify for me if it was made. Pls let me put podcasts in folders
