I would like to see the ability to put whole podcast shows into folders to be able to organise them better. the same way you can do with episodes or music albums.

I literally unfollow a bunch of podcasts on spotify and listen to them elsewhere because I can't clean up my library list on the desktop client. I want to have folders full of playlists, and others full of podcasts. I don't understand how you offer folders but then exclude podcasts from them. Why do think I want to rely on the filter buttons at the top???

I listen to "Audio Dramas" genre of podcasts. Which are like a series of audio stories.
I want to put all the different podcast shows into its own folder. This way i wont have to go to Podcasts and sift throught the large amount of podcasts i follow. some are talk shows, some are fictional audio dramas.

C'mon spotify please add this feature! 🙂

At least make it possible to create individual tags for podcast that are followed,

so  Users can sort podcasts by their given individual tags. Just in case its still not

possible (for what ever reason) to create folders for whole podcasts not only for a single Episode.

So maybe the idea with the tags is somehow technically feasible.

I love this idea. I have a couple different use cases for this. One is that I follow a lot of different podcasts and they generally fit into a few different categories [sports, food, business, daily podcasts etc] sometimes I'm looking for the latest episode in one of these categories and have to hunt for the podcast I want. Folders would likely be better than some sort of auto-classification since I could see creating folders that are mood-based or location based ex. "Podcasts for the Car" rather than podcast theme. If there were stored into certain folder, I'm able to pull the latest podcast in that folder. I would like to be able to put certain podcast feeds into multiple folders and certainly something where I could one click play through all the latest episodes for the pods in that folder.

This is sorely needed. The idea of having to find and put each individual episode in a folder amongst the dozens of podcasts i follow is ludicrous and if i spent all my time doing this i' wouldnt have any time left to actually listen to the podcasts!

Without the ability to organize shows, Spotify isn't an option I would consider for my podcast front end. Please implement this idea so that it would be a viable option.  Thanks.

I won't use Spotify for podcasts if I can't do anything as basic as organising my podcasts into folders. This is already a feature for playlists, why can't it be there for podcasts? It makes for a very cluttered user experience.
