[All Platforms] Remember Position in Playlist / Album

Please remember the current song playing in a playlist so if I switch away to a different playlist and then switch back, Spotify will know where I left off.

I often can't finish a playlist right away or my mood changes so I might switch to a different playlist. Later, I want to finish the previous playlist, not start over again.

Fully agree.  I used to "like" a track in the playlist to mark my position for later listening, but the latest version no longer shows the "heart" icon.

this has been requested for so long you should make it a reality! Would be super helpful as a future PE teacher making playlists for classes so every student could hear their song, but songs could still be shuffled.

Audiobooks are pointless without being able to bookmark them. Please add this function Spotify.

Just do it.  Stop wasting money on trying to take over the podcast world, which was  free and open and quite frankly better off without you [spotify].  Instead focus on music which is actualy better with you and make the music listening experience even better.  Such a simple request. Do it.

I am really thinking about switching to another app because of things here are being taken care inappropriately. No track numbers on Android and not remembering position. Neither one nor the other. This is really Major inconvenience when you have huge playlists. Terrible app.

I was looking for info on the feature to continue a playlist on Spotify and I saw this has been requested over a decade ago (!) And Spotify has decided not to do anything about it, without any reasonable explanation as to why not. Very unsatisfying for a service for which I pay 18 euros per month 😒
