[All Platforms] Show release's year instead of remastered version's year

When I listen to a song, Spotify shows me the "Remastered Version" year, but this information is not interesting at all.

It would be better to place the actual release year of the song.

For example, listening the remastered version of "The Wall" from Pink Floyd, it shows 2011 as year, and not 1979.

And I would add the release year to every song generally.

Do you agree it would be much better, or am I the only one who wants to know the actual release year of a song I am listening to? 🙂

Edit 21.02.2020: I added a screenshot with my proposal. The year of the song beside name's group and not in song's title.

This is a great idea, but I'd love to have both dates. Always have the original date, but maybe you can click/tap on the date to see the remastered date?

Also, there should be a tag for remastered (like the explicit tags) just so it doesn't increase the title length, but users can still tell it's a remaster.

I would be firmly in favour of having the original release as an option to select. Often I want to listen to the album I remember, not outtake after outtake and live version after live version. For example if I add an album to a playlist, it's a real pain to go through and remove or skip the additional tracks, which are often low grade versions of the songs you have already added to the playlist.

Similar to various ideas submitted - here's an example: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Original-Release-Year-Tag/idi-p/5889960

Maybe we all have to like each of them? I wish there was a way Spotify could combine similar ideas and see that this one actually has many more likes. I believe this post is the leading one so hopefully something is done about this soon. Sirus XM has been doing this for decades, not sure what the hold up is for Spotify...

I have seen that different albums by bands do not have the original release date; I think they may be remasterings. I believe both dates could be published, the original release date and the remastering date
