Since there is a Spotify Wrap at the end of the year there could also be a feature where you can see the user that was most similar to yourself over the whole course of the year, This could include their listening habits, music taste, favorite genre, favorite song etc...

It could be interesting to see who, out of the hundreds of millions of Spotify listeners, is just like you. It could be a novelty that is added to the Spotify Wrap.

Afterward, you can add them as a friend and share music in the future.

A social platform within Spotify that allows you to find other Spotify users ranked by highest taste match. Users would be able to find and follow each other, finding new songs they might enjoy through each other's profiles.

Spotify should have a "music soulmate" in their yearly wrap up where they match you with the person that has the most similar music taste to you based on your listening habits.

Nice idea! I think there is big potential in developing the social aspect of Spotify.

Maybe a side step from this (in case there's some concern with matching us with strangers and customer confidentiality) would be to include stats on your "compatibility" with your mutual followers. Music compatibility with people that both you follow and they follow you back - ex. 80% with Jeff C. - and include what genres you have in common or if you had 3/5 of the same top 5 artists.

love this idea sm, also maybe instead of having it with spotify wrapped it could be a blend in the made for you section of browse all, and monthly instead- you can approve the blend beforehand, or it could be optional, in case some people don’t want to use it
