Since there is a Spotify Wrap at the end of the year there could also be a feature where you can see the user that was most similar to yourself over the whole course of the year, This could include their listening habits, music taste, favorite genre, favorite song etc...

It could be interesting to see who, out of the hundreds of millions of Spotify listeners, is just like you. It could be a novelty that is added to the Spotify Wrap.

Afterward, you can add them as a friend and share music in the future.

Would be awesome to discover new music that way. Not even asking for a chat system/ spotify dating app scenario. Would just be cool to follow someone that makes playlists with the same tastes as you.

People should be able to opt in/out of sharing their library, and it should be anonymous. So when you get matched with your soulmate you get ALL their music... But you'll never know anything else about them

At the end of the year when Spotify collects all your listening data and shows you what songs and artists you've listened to most, instead of only showing you what place has listened most similar to you, it could show what person has listened to the same songs/artists as you. If someone doesn't want their data to be shared with others, they can have an option to not participate.

The idea is to introduce a feature called "Yearly Music Match." This feature would identify a partner for each user from the vast Spotify community who has exactly the same music interests. Once matched, users could have the option to connect and share their musical journeys, discuss their favorite artists, and even recommend new tracks to each other.

To add to this, I think you should also have the ability to choose an age range for who you can be matched with. Because imagine if some teenage girl gets matched with a 45 year old man. That's just awkward. But besides that I absolutely love this idea!
