I know Spotify tested a karaoke feature a while back

Please support it officially and make it available in all countries.

It would be better if you could adjust the vocal level, but I don't want that. Just add a karaoke function.

I'd love for Spotify to integrate an AI-powered vocal remover feature. This would allow users to create instrumental versions of their favorite songs by intelligently isolating and removing the vocals, leaving behind just the music track.

Why This Is a Good Idea:

    Enhanced Listening Experience: Provides a new way to enjoy music, focusing on the instrumental arrangements and musicianship.
    Creative Uses: Enables users to create karaoke tracks, practice playing along with their instruments, or remix songs.
    Accessibility: Makes instrumental versions of songs more readily available, even if official instrumental tracks haven't been released.

How It Could Work:

Spotify could leverage advanced AI algorithms to analyze the audio and separate vocals from the instrumental elements. This technology is constantly improving and already shows impressive results in various applications.

Additional Notes:

    The quality of the vocal removal would depend on the complexity of the song's mix.
    Spotify could offer different levels of vocal removal intensity, giving users more control.
    This feature could be integrated into the "Now Playing" view, perhaps as a toggle button.

I believe this feature would be a fantastic addition to Spotify, offering users a new level of control and creativity in their music listening experience.

I like to open the lyrics in the phone app and have it open at my desk while I work and read lyrics and sing along from time to time. However, the lyrics close when going to a new song. It would be awesome if this could stay up from song to song similar to the TV app. Thanks!

Would it be possible to overlay the lyrics into the music video, if a video is available for the song? Much more enjoyable for karaoke!

If not, it would help if I could run the music video on TV screen and see the lyrics on the second device, i.e. mobile phone or ipad. The other way around it is possible but not the way I would like to use it.

Dear Spotify Team,

As a fan of music and enthusiast of karaoke as a way of having fun with friends I've been thinking about Spotify to enhance the Karaoke Mode.

Everyone open YouTube or have an app like in the bars, but now thanks to AI it could be so much easier to lower the vocal of the singer and add lyrics to sing in the right time. For now Spotify has lyrics but they don't show the timing. It could allow users to sing along interactively to their favourite songs.

My idea expands on the existing lyrics feature by adding:

- A karaoke mode with vocal track removal or lowering it to the minimum to keep on the rhytm

- Interactive features with score and performance sharing if you have a microphone (every phone and smart tv remote has it)

- A party mode for social events

This feature could attract new users and bring YouTube Premium users to swipe into Spotify, making it not just a streaming platform but more immersive musical experience. I believe this could be a milestone for streaming platforms.

This could also be integrated into the existing lyrics section, with a simple toggle labelled "Karaoke." This would allow users to sing along to their favourite tracks by removing the vocals, creating a fun and interactive way to enjoy music.

bought a karaoke machine from a different company and in order for the lyrics to pop up on the screen, you gotta go on their partners website to purchase songs and download them on a flash drive or a CD in order for the lyrics to pop up on the screen so I’m like why do all that when I have Spotify and I could just use the music that I have on my playlist or my like list and sing it on karaoke

Coming back, I paid for PREMIUM, but also please make this feature available for free too! I enjoy it when both platforms have the feature, ESPECIALLY with one with a million users, including Free and Premium!
