Allow spotify volume control via mobile devices.

Hi 😊

If spotify plays on a laptop. It's possible to change volume of the laptops spotify via a mobile device.

This is not possible when a tablet is the host.

Aka. Mobile device cannot change volume of another mobile device.

Scenario:
Laying on the couch or in bed. Reading, listening to music or doing xyz. Listening to neo classical. Each song can have a big range and variance in RMS. Meaning, some songs are very low in volume, others very loud. It's late and people in the household might be sleeping, or thin walls between apartments. The low track is too low, turn volume up. Next track comes on, too loud. Gotta turn it down. This can result in a constant need to change volume. Meaning, having to get up, walk to the device, and change volume. Not ideal if the device is physically connected to the speakers.

This might be edge case, but it was thoroughly annoying. I tried a tablet as a desktop replacement, but because of inconveniences in almost every app, in similar fashion to this, I replaced it with a laptop again.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with these issues as I've seen others talk about it on forums, reddit etc too. Please look into this 🙂 It was possible in the past as far as I know, and it works the other way around. I could control the phones volume via laptop, but not from another mobile device.

Wishing y'all a wonderful day.

J
