Bring back Fullscreen lyrics on desktop

[I'm opening again a post because @Ivelina (wrongly) merged the one I had open with another one which is not the same. Please don't merge if it is not the same.]

As of recent updates, fullscreen has changed on desktop. It is now available in "now playing" view. The problem is it does not feature lyrics.

This is a regression: Fullscreen lyrics had been integrated as part of a popular feature requests years ago

I am asking for lyrics to be available once again for all devices.

As of today, it looks like they reverted the fullscreen from "now playing" bringing back the lyrics on fullscreen. It might be part of A/B testing, but for now it is fixed !

EDIT 2025-3-25 : updated again, fullscreen lyrics are gone again 😠

PLEASEEEE give me back the fullscreen option for the lyrics. i dont care about the mini player its actually annoying. i just want the lyrics please and thank you. i miss it.

What's the point of having a full screen if I can't get the lyrics in full screen. Seems really pointless

@c10e I do get where you come from, but to be fair I don't think "they don't care" or they "ignore users" or anything like that.

On the contrary, I think they try to be the best for users because the audio streaming market and competition is very challenging. 

The problem lies elsewhere. Management ? Bad tracking of user complaints and request ? Development is going to fast ?

Also we need to keep in mind that what 10% of users want (as gigantic as it is user wise), it might be what the other 90% of users don't want. 

So let's keep it respectful, we make our point, we raise our voice. Now let's be patient.

@Zekei Not for me, I think they are doing some A/B testing as I got it back very briefly at the beginning of the month

I, honestly, would like to see that developer, who said themselves something like "hmmm, the users will like this version of fullscreen mode more than the current one"... Oh my God, please bring the old one back or at least give us an option to choose which mode we want. We are paying users. I know you want to be seen as "we are doing something" but the rule "don't touch anything, that works" still apply.

stop tinkering with fullscreen lyrics. A/B taste something else. just keep this option available, it's literally one of the best features in the app.
